On 24th April 2021, Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad (AIRB) a member of MMC Group together with Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Sembilan (MAINS) and Cakna Rasa Sayang Society continue to spread the spirit of Ramadhan and bring happiness to the community by organizing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program named “Sharing with Community-Ramadhan Edition” to provide assistance to the Asnaf community that is impacted by the effects of COVID-19 outbreak.
This program is part of a comprehensive MMC Group’s CSR based program named MMC Prihatin where it serves as a good platform in fostering greater solidarity and community spirit between AIRB and the local community.
AIRB distributed 40 boxes of MMC Prihatin consisting all the necessity items such as cooking oil, flour, sugar and rice to the families and individual in need in Taman Rasa Sayang in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan. The program took place at Masjid Ar-Raudah, Senawang and attended by Ms. Som Omar, Head of the Region, MAINS, Mr. Zulkifli Muhamad, President of Cakna Rasa Sayang Society, Mr. Noor Ehsan Abdul Rahim, Finance Manager of AIRB, Business Development Manager of AIRB, Mr. Ahmad Dzuhri Jaafar and Mr. Sayyid Syafiq Syed Mohamed, Senior Lead, Business Development of AIRB. Due to the pandemic situation in our country, AIRB observed to strict compliance to the standard operating procedure to make sure the safety of both AIRB representatives and the recipients.
Happiness and joy filled the air as a group of 40 underprivileged families and individuals, comprising the needy, single parents as well as those from low-income families from Senawang area received food aid boxes.
“Sharing with Community-Ramadhan Edition” program was part of the AIRB’s initiatives to minimize the impact of the pandemic that has been disrupting the world with a heavy toll on human lives and economic activities. The program was also being arranged to rehabilitate suffering communities through food assistance program that is crucially important nowadays.
