Senior management of MMC Corporation Berhad on a site visit to Parit Raja IV and Sg Johor water treatment plants in Johor

On 4 May 2009, the Senior Management of MMC Corporation Berhad headed by En Hasni Harun, CEO Malaysia paid a visit to the Parit Raja IV water treatment plant which is operated and managed by Southern Water Corporation Sdn Bhd (SWC).

 

The management of SWC extended a heartily welcome to the MMC entourage which also includes En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, Board member of MMC Corporation Berhad. The management of SWC provided a briefing on the operational aspects of the water treatment plant to the esteemed visitors. On conclusion of the briefing, the visitors were taken on a guided tour of the water treatment facility.

 

Later in the afternoon, the entourage paid a visit to the Sg Johor water treatment plant which is operated and managed by Strategi Tegas (M) Sdn Bhd (STSB), the operator for Equiventures Sdn Bhd (ESB) which is the water concessionaire. Both STSB and ESB are associated companies of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad (AIRB). The visitors were also provided with an operational briefing and toured the water treatment facility.

 

The entourage left for Kuala Lumpur in the late evening.
