Y Bhg Dato' Wira Syed Abdul Jabbar graduated with a Bachelor of Economics degree and a Master of Science degree in Marketing. He was the Chief Executive Officer of the Kuala Lumpur Commodity Exchange from 1980 to 1996, the Executive Chairman of the Malaysia Monetary Exchange from 1996 to 1998 and the Executive Chairman of the Commodity and Monetary Exchange of Malaysia from 1998 to 2000.

Y BHG DATUK HASNI BIN HARUN, Malaysian, aged 52, was appointed to the Board of Directors of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad on 7 November 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) from University of Malaya and a Master of Business Administration from United States International University, San Diego, California. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
He held several senior positions in the Accountant General Office from 1980 to 1994. He was the Senior General Manager of the Investment Department at the Employees Provident Fund from 1994 to 2001, and the Managing Director of RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd from 2001 until 2006. He joined DRB-HICOM Berhad as Group Chief Financial Officer until 2006. He was appointed as Group Chief Operating Officer of MMC Corporation Berhad in January 2007 until February 2008. He was the Chief Executive Officer, Malaysia of MMC Corporation Berhad and redesignated as Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation Berhad effective 3 May 2010.
He is a member of the Audit, and Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
YM TENGKU DATO' SERI HASMUDDIN BIN TENGKU OTHMAN was appointed to the Board of Directors of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad on 18 November 2004.
He is the Managing Partner of Messrs. Hisham Sobri & Kadir and also the Head of the Muamalat and Islamic Banking Department of the firm. He completed his legal studies at the University of Malaya in 1986 with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and was admitted to the Bar in 1987. He was a partner in Messrs. Suhaimi & Abdullah, where he had earlier read in chambers, and subsequently became a partner following its amalgamation with Messrs. Suhaimi & Abdullah. He is actively involved in various aspects of corporate, banking and litigation as well as Syariah matters. Since the introduction of the first Islamic Bank in Malaysia, he has taken an active role in the development of the Islamic banking and finance and has been at the forefront in developing structural framework of documentation for Islamic banking products. He has successfully established himself as one of the local legal expert in this industry.
He is currently a member of Task Force on Islamic Finance for Labuan IOFC and Law Review Committee for Islamic Banking and Financial transactions under the auspices of the Central Bank of Malaysia and acted as an adviser for the Association of Islamic Banking in Malaysia (AIBIM) as well as for Skim Projek Usahawan Dalam Bidang Peruncitan (Prosper).
He is also active in social and charitable activities and has been appointed as trustee for Tuanku Najihah Foundation, Institut Quran Kuala Lumpur, Tabung Amanah Pesakit Malaysia and Institut Quran Tuanku Jaafar.
YM Tengku Dato' Hasmuddin is Chairman of the Audit Committee. He is also a member of the Nomination and Remuneration.
ENCIK AHMAD JAUHARI BIN YAHYA Malaysian, aged 54, was appointed to the Board of Directors of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad on 7 November 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
He is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Malakoff Corporation Berhad, a position he held since May 2007. From 1977 to 1979, he worked with ESSO Malaysia Berhad before joining The New Straits Times Press (M) Berhad ('NSTP') as an Electrical and Electronic Engineer. He was subsequently Engineering Manager (1982), Production and Technical Director (1983) and then Senior Group General Manager, Production and Circulation (1990).
In 1992, he moved to Time Engineering Berhad as Deputy Managing Director and in the same year was promoted to Managing Director. In 1993, he joined Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad ('MRCB') as Managing Director, before resigning a year later to take on the post of Managing Director of Malakoff Berhad while remaining a Director of MRCB. In July 1999, he was appointed a Director of NSTP and subsequently, the Executive Vice-President of MRCB in February 2000. In July 2000, he resigned from his executive presidency at MRCB and NSTP. In 2007, Encik Ahmad Jauhari resigned as Managing Director of Malakoff Berhad while still remaining a member of its Board.
Encik Ahmad Jauhari also sits on the Boards of MMC Corporation Berhad, Malakoff Berhad, Malakoff Corporation Berhad and Port Dickson Power Berhad, and is the Honorary Vice President of Penjanabebas (Association of Independent Power Producers, Malaysia).

ENCIK BAHARI BIN HAMZAH was appointed to the Board of Directors of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad on 21 November 2006. He graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (First Class Honours) from Ohio University in the United States of America. He also holds a Diploma in Investment Analysis from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Upon his graduation in 1989, he joined Arab Malaysian Merchant Bank Berhad as a Senior Portfolio Management Officer and is responsible for managing the bank's institutional funds. His other tasks include analysing and conducting in-depth studies on public listed companies, liaising with stockbrokers on share trading with a view in ensuring good returns for the clients. In 1994, he joined Business Focus Sdn Bhd as Senior Manager in Business and Corporate Development. From 1996 to 2000, he was the Assistant General Manager in Business Development with Island & Peninsula Berhad, a company involved in property development and controlled by Permodalan Nasional Berhad, the nation's biggest trust fund manager.
In year 2000, he joined Syarikat Perumahan Negara Bhd as a Senior General Manager in Business and Corporate Development, a company wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance Incorporated tasked to build quality and affordable houses for the hardcore poor and low income families.
In year 2005, Encik Bahari ventured into private business and is principally involved in advisory and consultancy services.
Encik Bahari is Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee.
