Corporate Social Reponsibility

The AIR Bhd group of companies has taken a proactive role in promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the course of carrying out their business activities. The Group recognises corporate social responsibility as an extension in the fostering of a strong corporate governance culture. While corporate governance focuses primarily on the interests of the Company’s shareholders, CSR take into account the interests of the Company’s wider stakeholders.

 

The Group adheres strongly to environmentally friendly principles and acknowledges the important role in the environmental management. It views the importance of a clean and safe environment and is committed to promote best occupational health and safety practices.

 

The Group extended financial support to several non-governmental organisations and charitable bodies primarily located in the state of Johor Darul Takzim which actively supports organisations and agencies that focus on education and the needs of the senior citizens, orphans, disadvantaged youths and physically challenged persons.

 

The Group considers it a privilege to actively engage in community partnership initiatives supporting organisations that promotes the long-term betterment and permanent improvement of communities and the environment.
