Dato' Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Malaysian, aged 48, was appointed the Director of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad on 1 July 2013. Prior to his current role, Dato' Sri Che Khalib served as Chief Operating Officer of Finance, Strategy and Planning at DRB HICOM Berhad.

Dato' Sri Che Khalib began his career with Messrs Ernst & Young in 1989 and later joined Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad. Between 1992 and 1999, he served in several companies within the Renong Group. This includes involvement in Projek Lebuhraya Utara Selatan (PLUS), HBN Management Services Sdn. Bhd, Renong Overseas Corporation Sdn Bhd and Marak Unggul Sdn Bhd which is the consortium responsible for the management of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad.

In June 1999, Dato' Sri Che Khalib joined Ranhill Utilities Berhad as Chief Executive Officer. He then assumed the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at KUB Malaysia Berhad. Dato' Sri Che Khalib was then appointed as the President/Chief Executive Officer of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) on 1 July 2004 where he served TNB for eight years until the completion of his contract on 30 June 2012. During his tenure at TNB, Dato' Sri Che Khalib drove many improvement initiatives that resulted in TNB becoming one of the success stories in the GLC Transformation Programme. He shaped and set the corporate strategies plan in September 2005.

Dato' Sri Che Khalib was previously a member of the Executive Committee of Khazanah Nasional Berhad from year 2000 to 2004. He also served as a Board member within the United Engineers Malaysia (UEM) Group of companies and Bank Industri & Teknologi Malaysia Berhad.

Dato' Sri Che Khalib has received many accolades in recognition of his strong leadership including being named Malaysia’s CEO of the year in 2008, the highest level of recognition given corporate leaders in Malaysia, organised by the New Straits Time and American Express. He was also named the CEO of the Year at the inaugural Asia Power and Electricity Award 2010 and was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Asia Utility Industry Awards 2012.

A qualified accountant, Dato' Sri Che Khalib is a member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (CA,M) and also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA,UK) United Kingdom.

Dato' Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh currently sits on the Boards of MMC Corporation Berhad, Zelan Berhad, Malakoff Corporation Berhad, Johor Port Berhad, MMC Engineering Group Berhad, Gas Malaysia Berhad, Pos Malaysia Berhad, Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad and several private limited companies.

YM. Tengku Dato’ Seri Hasmuddin Tengku Othman, a Malaysian, aged 51, was appointed to the Board of Directors of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad on 18 November, 2004. YM. Tengku Dato’ Seri Hasmuddin is the Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. He is a member of Task Force on Islamic Finance for Labuan IOFC, Member of Jawatankuasa Pemantauan dan Pengawasan Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad and Investment Committee Member of Amanahraya-REIT. YM. Tengku Dato’ Seri Hasmuddin holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from University of Malaya and was admitted to the Bar in 1987. He is a practicing lawyer and is currently the principal partner of Messrs Hisham, Sobri & Kadir, His areas of expertise include the various expects of Islamic banking and finance, corporate banking and project financing, corporate matters, corporate Muamalat Islamic banking and litigation as well as matters relating to Syariah. He sits on the boards of a number of companies, including Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, Institut Jantung Negara Sdn. Bhd., HSK Corporate Advisory & Consultancy, Rangkaian Hotel Seri Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia. YM. Tengku Dato’ Seri Hasmuddin has attended all seven (7) of the Board meetings and two (2) Special Board meetings held for the financial year ended 31 December 2012. He does not hold any interests in the securities of the Company or its subsidiaries nor has he any family relationship with any Director and/or major shareholder of the Company nor any conflict of interest with the Company

YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Syed Abdul Jabbar bin Syed Hassan, Malaysian, aged 73, was appointed as a non-independent Chairman of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad on 15 March 2010. YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Syed Abdul Jabbar holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from University of Western Australia and a Masters of Science degree in Marketing from University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, United Kingdom. YBhg. Dato’ Wira Syed Abdul Jabbar was the Chief Executive Officer of the Kuala Lumpur Commodity Exchange from 1980 to 1996, the Executive Chairman of the Malaysia Monetary Exchange from 1996 to 1998 and the Executive Chairman of the Commodity and Monetary Exchange of Malaysia from 1998 to 2000. YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Syed Abdul Jabbar is the Chairman of MARDEC Berhad, Padiberas Nasional Berhad, Tradewinds Plantation Berhad, Tradewinds (M) Berhad, MMC Corporation Berhad and Malakoff Corporation Berhad and a director of KAF Investment Bank Berhad. He has attended all seven (7) Board meetings for the financial year ended 31 December 2012. YBhg. YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Nor bin Idrus, Malaysian, aged 59, was appointed to the Board of Directors of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad on 26 March 2012. YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Nor is a member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Civil) from Sunderland Polytechnic, United Kingdom. YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Nor held several senior positions in Renong/UEM Group of Companies from 1989 to 2005. He was the Senior Project Engineer with PLB Berhad, Managing Director of Cement Industries Malaysia Berhad (CIMA), Putra Berhad and UEM Builders Berhad and the Chief Executive Officer of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad. He then joined Kien Huat Construction as Chief Executive Officer in 2006 and subsequently joined MMC Engineering Group Berhad as the Director of Rail Projects in 2007 until present. YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Nor sits on the Board of Zelan Berhad. YBhg. Bahari bin Hamzah

Encik Bahari bin Hamzah, Malaysian, aged 49 was appointed to the Board of Directors of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad on 21 November 2006. Encik Bahari is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Encik Bahari joined Arab Malaysian Merchant Bank Berhad as a Senior Portfolio Management Officer upon his graduation in 1989 and is responsible for managing the bank’s institutional funds. His other tasks include analysing and conducting in-depth studies on public listed companies, liaising with stockbrokers on share trading with a view in ensuring good returns for the clients. In 1994, he joined Business Focus Sdn Bhd as Senior Manager in Business and Corporate Development. From 1996-2000, he was the Assistant General Manager in Business Development with Island & Peninsula Berhad, a company involved in property development and controlled by Permodalan Nasional Berhad, the nation’s biggest trust fund manager.

In year 2000, he joined Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad as a Senior General Manager in Business and Corporate Development, a company wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance Incorporated, tasked to build quality and affordable houses for the hardcore poor and low income families. In year 2005, Encik Bahari ventured into private business and is principally involved in advisory and consultancy works. Encik Bahari graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (First Class Honours) from Ohio University in the United States of America. He also holds a Diploma in Investment Analysis from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Encik Bahari sits on the Board of several private limited companies. He has attended all seven (7) of the Board meetings held for the financial year ended 31 December 2011. He does not hold any interests in the securities of the Company or its subsidiaries nor has he any family relationship with any Director and/or major shareholder of the Company nor any conflict of interest with the Company.
